CRMCA launched the new year with a full slate of education, advocacy, and member engagement activities that set a strong tone for 2026. January began with two successful ACI certification trainings, hosted in Charleston, SC on January 7 and Charlotte, NC on January 14, reinforcing CRMCA’s commitment to workforce development and technical excellence across the region.

In parallel, Jessica Wilson, Director of Technical Services & Education, participated in the first session of the Sustain SC Sustainable Leadership Initiative in Greenville, SC, in partnership with the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman University, expanding CRMCA’s engagement in sustainability-focused leadership and cross-sector collaboration. CRMCA also joined industry partners at a South Carolina Legislative Reception on January 14, hosted in collaboration with seven other allied organizations, strengthening relationships with policymakers.

Last week concluded on a high note with CRMCA’s Annual Oyster Roast in Little River, SC, welcoming 50+ members and partners for networking and connection.
