2021 MIXER RODEO

Trucks, obstacles, skill and a whole lot of competition – you won’t want to miss this exciting annual event!  Mixer Drivers from Producer Member Companies go head to head in a true best-of-the-best competition.

The CRMCA Fleet & Plant Maintenance Committee is proud to host the Mixer Rodeo this year and looks forward to recognizing the best in our industry!

Make plans to join us this year on August 21st at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Charlotte, NC.  As a reminder this event is open to all CRMCA members and their employees, coworkers, family and friends – come out for a great day and help cheer on our Drivers!  This year’s event venue will allow for 5 drivers per company / per state and will be held all indoors.  Use the online form to register your drivers.

This annual event is open to all members, co-workers, employees, family and friends!  To help with headcount for food and seating please let us know if you plan to attend!  Simply complete this form for your company or as individuals.  Keep in mind we have 2 events that include food – Appreciation & Welcome Dinner on Friday Evening and then the Event Lunch on Saturday during the Rodeo.

In addition to our 2021 Mixer Rodeo, August will serve as Concrete Delivery Professional Appreciation Month!  We know that our members operations are only as strong as the individuals supporting them – this is why we want to take an entire month to truly show our appreciation for the Concrete Delivery Professionals that make us #StrongerTogether.

WEEKLY THEMES

Week 1: Safer Together (August 9th-13th)

We all know how important Safety is to our employees, customers, companies and more – this week will highlight Safety in Action and all the ways our employees and companies are #SaferTogether.  Help us recognize all of our Carolinas employees and promote #SaferTogether this week with the following:
  • Submit your Concrete Delivery Professionals for our Annual Awards by Sept. 5th – including Safe Concrete Delivery Professional of the Year and our Lifetime Achievement Award.
  • Recognize your #SaferTogether Drivers who have no reportable accidents for 1, 5, 10 and 20+ years – simply use this link for easy submissions or contact charley@crmca.com for an excel template – submit by August 13th.
  • Best of all, any Concrete Delivery Professionals submitted in the areas above will be entered for another CRMCA Yeti Cooler!

Week 2: Concrete Strong (August 16th – August 20th)

This week features our Delivery Professionals and why they love working for their company!  Simply have your drivers submit their “why” August 20th with this link and we will draw a Raffle Winner for a CRMCA Yeti Cooler.

Week 3: Gimme A Break (August 23rd – 27th)

Use this week to celebrate and thank your Concrete Delivery Professionals at your plants!  A special treat, lunch or beverage break makes for a great way to say Thank You!  Share a team pic or “Gimme A Break” treat with hashtags #CRMCA & #StrongerTogether.  Here’s a few ideas:
