By a vote of 113-5, the North Carolina House of Representatives recently passed a major infrastructure spending bill for K-12, higher education and transportation. HB 1225 would authorize placing a $3.1 billion bond on the November ballot for State residents to approve.
The $3.1 Billion bond plan would include:
- Transportation – $1.15 billion
- K-12 – $1.05 billion
- UNC System – $600 million
- NC Community College System – $300 million
