The CRMCA is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Awards & Recognition Program. Each year, these awards shine a spotlight on the people, plants, and projects that are raising the bar for our industry across the Carolinas. From safety and environmental leadership to individual achievements and collaborative projects, this program is designed to honor the very best of what our members contribute to the built environment.

This year, CRMCA is excited to expand the program with three new awards that reflect the evolving leadership and innovation happening across our industry: Plant Manager of the Year, Project of the Year, and the Stronger Together Award.

The Plant Manager of the Year Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to both their team and their community. Plant Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations—and this award puts their efforts front and center. The winner will receive not only recognition at the CRMCA Fall Workshop, but also a plaque, a $500 gift card, complimentary registration to the Workshop, and a travel stipend.

The Project of the Year Award celebrates innovative and impactful concrete projects completed within the last year. These projects highlight the creativity and problem-solving skills of our members, showcasing how concrete helps build and strengthen communities throughout North and South Carolina.

Perhaps most unique is the new Stronger Together Award, which captures the true spirit of CRMCA’s mission. This award will go to a project that exemplifies member collaboration by involving multiple CRMCA companies across different roles—producers, suppliers, contractors, and consultants—working hand in hand. It’s a recognition of the powerful results that come when our members combine their expertise and resources to achieve something greater than they could alone.

Alongside these new honors, CRMCA will continue to present its long-standing awards that recognize excellence in plant safety, environmental stewardship, and individual contributions. The Concrete Delivery Professional Awards highlight the dedication and professionalism of mixer drivers. The Concrete Champion Award honors individuals who go above and beyond in advocating for the industry. And the Environmental Excellence and Improvement Awards, along with the Plant Safety Awards, shine a light on members who are leading the way in responsible, safe, and sustainable practices.

All award nominations are due by October 15, 2025, and winners will be celebrated during the CRMCA Fall Workshop. This event is always a highlight of the year, bringing together more than 250 industry professionals for education, networking, and recognition of the people and companies making a difference in the Carolinas concrete industry.

The Awards & Recognition Program is about more than plaques and titles; it’s about taking a moment to recognize the people and projects that inspire us all.
