WILSON, N.C., Dec. 16, 2024 – S.T. Wooten Corporation of Wilson, N.C., today announced its acquisition of Capital Ready Mix Concrete of Pittsboro, N.C.
The acquisition includes Capital’s employees, four ready mix concrete plants, and trucks at two locations in Pittsboro and Knightdale.
“The addition of Capital’s plants and employees will allow S.T. Wooten to further serve customers in growing markets like Chatham County and eastern Wake County,” said S.T. Wooten President & CEO Christopher T. Wooten.
S.T. Wooten Vice President of Ready Mix Gary Hodges noted that the additional locations “join perfectly with S.T. Wooten’s current network of 16 ready mix plants. As the Triangle area continues to grow, these additional locations, trucks and drivers will greatly benefit customers.”
“We’re not only expanding our capacity to serve customers,” Hodges continued, “but increasing efficiency by reducing the time between load deliveries to the job site.”
