Safe Concrete Delivery Professional of the Year

This award recognizes and acknowledges an outstanding Concrete Delivery Professional for the 12-month period July 1, 2025 through  June 30, 2026. Each CRMCA Producer Member Company is eligible to submit one nominee. The winner will be determined by a set  non-partisan panel of judges.  

The award may be presented to an individual whose single action or long-time commitment to safety and health in the ready mixed  concrete industry exemplifies superior performance in the field of safety. Examples of the award winner could be a ready mixed  concrete truck driver whose actions were life saving. Other examples could include plant managers, safety managers and company  officials who have outstanding dedication to safety and health in the ready mixed concrete industry. Other examples would be an  individual’s involvement community safety activities. 

The winner will be introduced and honored at the CRMCA Fall Workshop. Winner will receive: 

1. $500 gift card 
2. One complimentary CRMCA Fall Workshop Registration 
3. One-night hotel room and up to $100 travel stipend for meals/travel (receipts must be submitted) 
4. Local and national publicity as appropriate 
5. Plaque for driver and driver’s company 

Mixer Driver Qualifications: 

1. Must be classified as mixer driver for the award period: July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. 
2. Perfect attendance for the time period in question (no un-excused absences). 
3. No moving violations, accidents or drug/alcohol convictions for the award period in question. 
4. No “at fault” rejected loads for the award period in question. 
5. Promotes on-the-job safety with a safety focused attitude. 
6. Keeps his/her truck clean. 
7. Number of trips per year (to be used as tie breaker).
