As we reflect on 2025, I want to personally thank all of our CRMCA members for another strong and meaningful year.  Your continued involvement, support, and commitment to the concrete industry across North and South Carolina are what make this Association successful.

Throughout the year, you showed up with a willingness to learn, engage, and contribute.  Our education and workforce development programs remained a key focus in 2025, and your participation reinforced the importance of investing in industry knowledge and people. From certification review courses and technical trainings to leadership development and student outreach, these efforts continue to strengthen our industry at every level.

The Summer Convention was a highlight of the year and provided valuable time for members to connect, learn, and build relationships outside of their day-to-day operations.  The strong attendance and engagement made it clear how important it is to come together as an industry and share ideas and experiences.

Our committees, education events, and industry programs throughout the year created meaningful opportunities for collaboration and discussion on issues facing our industry. Your voices and insights helped shape productive conversations around safety, workforce development, advocacy, and the future of the concrete industry in the Carolinas.

Another important focus in 2025 was promoting our industry beyond our membership.  Through community events, outreach efforts, and public-facing initiatives, CRMCA worked to raise awareness of the value concrete brings to our communities.  A key part of this effort was the Low-Carbon Symposium, which brought together industry professionals, partners, and stakeholders to share ideas and highlight innovation, sustainability, and responsible growth within the concrete industry.  These efforts help tell our story and position our members as leaders in building resilient, sustainable communities.

The Fall Workshop was another standout event and a fitting way to close the year.  Educational sessions, networking opportunities, and the annual golf tournament supporting the CRMCA Scholarship Fund all reflected the professionalism and generosity of our membership.  Because of your support, CRMCA was able to continue investing in students pursuing careers connected to construction and the concrete industry.

Beyond our events, 2025 was a year of strong membership engagement.  Members stepped forward as volunteers, sponsors, speakers, and advocates, reinforcing the value of being involved and strengthening the Association as a whole. You can view the 2025 Membership Highlights Here.

On behalf of the CRMCA Board of Directors and staff, I want to thank you for your trust and continued involvement.  Your support allows us to serve our members, advocate on your behalf, and promote the value of the ready-mixed concrete industry across the Carolinas.

We are excited to build on this momentum in 2026 and look forward to continuing this work alongside you and on behalf of the ready mixed concrete industry!
