As the Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association welcomes its 2026 Board of Directors, the Association looks ahead to a year focused on advancing advocacy, strengthening industry engagement, and supporting resilient growth across the Carolinas. Under the leadership of 2026 CRMCA President Pete Knight of Knight’s Redi-Mix Concrete and in partnership with the CRMCA staff, the Board will guide initiatives that deliver meaningful value to its members and advance the ready mixed concrete industry.
CRMCA’s 2026 priorities emphasize an expanded government affairs presence, revitalized political action efforts, and deeper engagement with policymakers on workforce, materials, and infrastructure issues. The Association will also launch targeted promotional campaigns and sector-specific outreach to contractors, owners, architects, and engineers—particularly within higher education, data centers, and multi-family construction—reinforcing concrete as a durable, high-performance, and sustainable building solution.
In support of member growth, CRMCA will continue offering a robust lineup of networking opportunities, educational programs, and industry events designed to strengthen member businesses, support employee development, and expand concrete’s presence in the marketplace. From technical education and leadership development to peer engagement and knowledge sharing, these initiatives help members stay competitive and connected.
In addition, CRMCA will continue championing resilient construction practices that protect communities and strengthen long-term infrastructure, while expanding leadership opportunities within committees to better engage both emerging and experienced industry professionals. With the dedication of the 2026 Board, these initiatives position the Association—and the ready mixed concrete industry—for a strong, impactful year ahead.
