The CRMCA Hall of Fame Award was created to recognize members who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to service and leadership within the association. Our members are the lifeblood of the CRMCA, and this award honors those individuals whose dedication has helped shape both the association and the concrete industry as a whole.

During the 2025 Fall Workshop, the CRMCA proudly inducted to Lanny Clark of Concrete Services Co. into the CRMCA Hall of Fame. Lanny Clark’s career is a true example of perseverance, integrity, and lifelong commitment to the industry.

Lanny began his journey in the concrete industry in 1971 when he applied for his first job at Concrete Services Company. His job title at the time was simply “whatever was needed,” a role that allowed him to learn every facet of the business and laid the foundation for a career defined by curiosity, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Born in Erwin, North Carolina, and raised in Bunnlevel just outside of Fayetteville, Lanny grew up on a farm working the fields of tobacco, corn, soybeans, and cotton. Those early years instilled in him a deep respect for hard work and honest labor. Over more than five decades in the industry, Lanny has grown into a respected leader, mentor, and trusted colleague. At 76 years young, he continues to show up every day, a testament to his passion for the concrete industry and the people who make it thrive.

When reflecting on his long and successful career, Lanny points to the camaraderie of the industry and the willingness of peers to work together through challenging times as the most rewarding aspects of his journey. That collaborative spirit is at the heart of the CRMCA and is exemplified through his leadership and service.

We also recognize the individuals who helped shape Lanny’s career, including Rudy Stankwytch and Bob Allen Sr., whose mentorship and friendship left a lasting impact on his life. Finally, we extend our sincere thanks to his wife, Theresa, and his three children for their unwavering support throughout the years.
