The third installment of the Emerging Leaders series began with an in-depth session on concrete testing, featuring expert speakers Steve Ackerman from Ackerman Consulting Engineers, LLC, and Greg Bell from Thomas Concrete, Inc. They highlighted key industry advancements, shared the critical role of concrete testing, and discussed the paramount importance on how best to communicate with customers in the field. We extend our gratitude to both for providing timely and candid feedback on what emerging leaders can expect as they grow within their respective roles.

The group then joined fellow members at the Piedmont CEC for an evening of networking and bowling at Stone Pin Company. The night concluded with a dynamic Speed Networking Event, offering attendees a chance to make impactful connections and refine their networking skills.

Day two focused on comprehensive HR training, providing practical tools and strategies for leadership development and team management. Catapult’s sessions covered HR Law, workplace conflicts, hiring procedures, and documentation to avoid legal issues.
