The 2025 Emerging Leaders Class kicked off with an eventful first session in Charlotte North Carolina February 11th starting with a rainy yet insightful tour of Concrete Supply Company. Despite the weather, the group had the opportunity to go behind the scenes and gain a deeper understanding of operations while connecting with industry professionals. The rain may have been persistent, but it certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm and engagement of the participants.

In the evening, the group headed to Top Golf for a relaxed and fun-filled networking event. The informal setting provided the perfect opportunity for participants to bond over friendly competition while continuing to build relationships within the industry. It was a great way to unwind after an action-packed day and strengthen the connections that will continue to develop throughout the program.

On Day 2, the focus shifted to leadership development with an in-depth exploration of DiSC assessments at the CRMCA Office. This valuable tool helps individuals understand their unique leadership styles, communication preferences, and approaches to teamwork. By recognizing these traits, participants gained insights into how they can better collaborate, lead their teams more effectively, and adapt to different work styles within their organizations. The discussions and reflections provided an eye-opening experience that will serve as a foundation for growth throughout the year.

With such a strong start, the 2025 Emerging Leaders Class is already gaining valuable experiences that will shape their professional journeys. We’re excited to see how these insights and connections continue to evolve!
