CRMCA is proud to recognize Jessica Wilson, Director of Technical Services & Education, for two significant professional achievements that reflect her commitment to leadership, innovation, and community impact.
On June 4, Wilson graduated as a member of the fifth cohort of Sustain SC’s Sustainability Leadership Initiative (SLI), a six-month experiential learning program developed in partnership with the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman University. The program brings together cross-sector leaders from across South Carolina to strengthen leadership skills and develop solutions that drive positive change within organizations and communities.
As part of the program’s capstone presentations, Wilson presented “Envisioning Regenerative Concrete,” a systems-based approach to concrete operations focused on identifying closed-loop opportunities that create measurable returns on investment while driving exponential improvements in resource efficiency. The presentation explored how the ready mixed concrete industry can leverage innovative operational strategies to enhance performance, strengthen sustainability outcomes, and maximize the value of existing resources.
Wilson was recognized alongside the SLI Class of 2026 during graduation ceremonies in Columbia, joining a growing network of sustainability leaders dedicated to building a more resilient South Carolina.
In addition, Wilson was recently named to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious 40 Under 40 class. The annual recognition celebrates emerging leaders who are making meaningful contributions through business, nonprofit leadership, community service, and innovation throughout Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
CRMCA congratulates Jessica on these well-deserved accomplishments and her continued leadership in advancing the ready mixed concrete industry and the communities it serves.
