Delivered in partnership with ACI, the ACI Field Grade 1 Review Course equips participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to properly test freshly mixed concrete. The program blends classroom review with practical field exercises, helping technicians build a strong foundation in concrete materials, testing procedures, and industry-standard quality control practices.
This training is ideal for individuals working in, or preparing to enter, concrete testing, quality control, construction, or materials inspection. It is especially valuable for technicians with at least two months of field experience who are looking to enhance their technical abilities and work toward an industry-recognized ACI certification.

Throughout the review, participants will revisit standard test methods, learn proper equipment usage, and practice accurate reporting techniques. These skills are essential for evaluating fresh concrete to ensure it meets project specifications before placement, ultimately supporting higher-quality concrete construction across the region.
The ACI Field Grade 1 Review Course is also an excellent step in career advancement, opening doors to expanded responsibilities and greater technical confidence on the job.
Please note: This course is optional and requires a separate registration to take the ACI Field Grade 1 Written and Performance Exams, which can be completed through the ACI Carolinas website.
With three date options available, we encourage members to secure their preferred session early and take advantage of this valuable professional development opportunity in 2026.
