Pervious Concrete
Pervious concrete, also known as the "no fines" concrete, is a fast rising product in the Carolinas for use as a storm water management system and in aiding developers and builders to use as their paving systems. Many municipalities recognize pervious concrete for use as "credit" against impervious building requirements, hence a bigger building on a smaller lot with only the roof line, not the parking area counting as impervious. Pervious Concrete is being used throughout the Carolinas. The CRMCA is proud to have developed Pervious Concrete Installer & Technician schools. The schools are one of the first of their kind in the U.S. and classes are held throughout the Carolinas. The CRMCA also puts on pervious concrete informational programs and demonstrations for education and awareness of the product. Check the calendar for upcoming events pertaining to pervious concrete or contact the CRMCA office if you are interested in attending or putting on an event.
